We are looking for an experienced Medical Scheduler/ Receptionist to join our growing practice.

Salary will be as per award (Permanent Full-time)

Job Description:
Responsibilities for Scheduler/ Medical Receptionist

Perform patient intake, including the completion and filing of all necessary records

Produce and process schedules and reports as they are requested by administrative staff, customers or clients

Creation and maintenance of client records

Patient Management

Booking of appointments, maintenance of appointment system

Speak with customers over the phone in order to schedule, remind and follow up on appointments

Add, cancel or make changes to appointments in the organization’s schedule

Essential Criteria:
The ability to firmly adhere to Client confidentiality and professionalism in a private allied health practice

Have at least two years’ experience as a medical scheduler.

Computer competency for data entry and the production of reports and schedules

Excellent communication skills in customer service and experience working as a company team member.

Ability to fulfil the company’s standards and values when performing scheduling tasks

Display kindness and be open to providing scheduling accommodations to customers, clients or staff

Have an eye for detail and organization

Ability to perform more than one task at a time and solve problems quickly.

The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

.Previous experience as an allied health or medical receptionist would be considered.
