Supporting our Sales team, we are in search of a home-based Senior Area Sales Manager (m/f/d) preferably located in the new federal states of Germany.
Our search is for a Senior Sales Manager with strong communication skills and a deep understanding of modern medical products preferably in medical capital goods. You will become part of a very successful and dynamic Sales team working closely alongside with all members of the German Sales team.

In this new position in a team of five (Senior) Area Sales Managers, one Senior Sales Manager Software and one Sales Specialist Treatment Planning Software, you will develop sales strategies, build up and maintain trustful customer relationships and have to achieve sales and service targets for orders and revenue.
You will report directly to the Managing Director and Sales & Service Lead for Germany
Promote & present Varian solutions and products to current and prospective customers in Germany
Identify new customers and develop relationships for the purpose of selling assigned Varian products
Develop implementation concepts which allow customers to utilize Varian solutions in their specific environments
Drive tender business. Fully engaged in all aspects of tenders, especially working on tender responses and participate in tender meetings
Work in tight collaboration with Sales, Service, Application, Project Management and Product Marketing
Bachelors Degree (or equivalent experience) and/or demonstrable related experience
Open-minded and communicative character
Deep understanding of medical technology products
Preferably clinical experience in radiation therapy
Preferably experience with Varian products
Proficient in utilizing business tools such MS Office and CRM Systems
Fluent German and English, written and verbal
Travel: approx. 40 – 60%
