Do you have an interest and passion in oncology? Nottingham Children’s Hospital (NCH) is pleased to announce we have vacancies for both newly qualified* nurses and experienced registered nurses in both our Oncology day-care and inpatient areas (E39) due to expanding and developing our services.

Come and join the team at Nottingham Children’s Hospital in providing innovative and integral care to a wide range of patients with oncological, haematological and rheumatological conditions.
You will be able to gain knowledge and expertise in a wide range of medical conditions. As part of the oncology team you will supported by our Clinical Educator and will receive robust training to support your clinical skills. We are passionate and committed to the growth and development of our nursing teams.

The children’s hospital is housed within the Queens medical centre campus and has 116 inpatient beds across 8 inpatient wards covering all specialitys, with many of our specialitys being regional centres as well as two neonatal intensive care units one based at our City hospital campus.
We have an innovative Preceptorship programme to support newly qualified staff during their crucial transition period from student nurse to registered nurse as well bespoke support for those joining our teams with experience.

Current level one NMC registration/Pre-pin due to qualify.
Posession of mentor course or willingness to complete
Experience of delivering nursing care to a group of patients
